A transformation in the role of Executive & Personal Assistants within organisations has taken place over the last 15 years. Executive Assistants now operate as the right hand of their C Suite level Executive, providing support, representation at meetings, coordinating information flow, recognising and managing business challenges and negotiating and managing communication with the Executive team. Executive Assistants are now required to not only support and protect their Executive but also have business knowledge and management skills to act on their behalf. As key influenceers at senior management level EAs require leadership and management skills, commercial business awareness, financial business understanding, confidence to present and be proficient in event management.
The Global PA Advanced EA Programme has been designed to meet the demand for EAs and PAs who are prepared to take on more managerial and business responsibilities in the workplace and represent their Executive across all levels of the organisation. 10% discount available until 28th February 2018.
Who should attend?
- This 2 day programme is designed for EAs and PAs who work for Chairmen, CEOs, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors & Senior Management. The programme is now split into 2 separate 1 Day sessions to offer busy EAs & PAs the opportunity to attend. The first session of 2018 will be held on 8th March 2018 and the second day on 20th March 2018 in London. The next session will be on 12th June & 26th June 2018.

The Finance Session will be delivered on Day 1 by Tony Pamphilon, Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London

- Style & Theme for the event and logistics
- What is the commercial message of the event
- Managing communications with the venue and their team
- Timetable planning
- Event Management follow up
On Day 2 How to present yourself at work in meetings and at events will be delivered by Rosemary Parr, CEO of the Global PA Association. Topics covered in this session are:
- Presenting yourself with confidence and authority in meetings at events and with Clients & Customers
- Identify your personal areas of strength in presenting effectively
- Learn how to combine ideas and information in a structured and logical way
- Discover how to use your voice and body language
- Top Tips on handling nerves
- Planning the content and managing your material
- Understanding your audience and Q&A sessions
This 2 day programme has been approved by the ILM www.i-l-m.com and each delegate will receive 1 year study membership of the ILM and access to their Learning Zone.
