AI will not replace Executive Assistants

Global PA Association & Training Academy has been championing and supporting the Executive Assistant profession for over 17 years. This has been done through creating the largest sample of Academic Research into the profession globally, which is now published in Academic Journals. Working in partnership with Kingston University Business School, Professor Katie Bailey & Amanda Rosewarne of CPD Standards Office we led the way on exploring why the profession is still viewed as a 'ghetto occupation in the 21st century' with 'limited career prospects' and '95% women led'. We have seen a big improvement in upskilling and training for Executive Assistants in the workplace since our 2012 academic research was published. At Global PA our view is that AI will create further opportunities for career development. The Executive Assistants who develop strategic, commercial, leadership and AI skills are likely to become more valuable than ever.
